From Fashion Sketch To Comic Strip

One day, inspiration hit me in the head and told me to make a modern-day fashion sketch of my favorite princesses (excluded Mulan, Tiana, and a bunch of others even though I still love them). I also wanted to draw Jack Frost and thought he would be trying to annoy the girls to get their attention. I made all the girls look mad and/or annoyed and Voila', my comic strip was born!

Elsa: Ms. Mature Mom. She is like the parent of the group and is the oldest  (unless you count Jack) so I gave her a business-woman look. She also is the only one who wears make-up and half-visible stilettos. Elsa treats Jack like a little brother and sees him as a friend. She may or may not like Jack back a little bit; she just won't admit it either way. A message to Elsa: sorry if you think that your make-up makes you look like a Bratz doll. I am new with drawing make-up. If not, then yay!

Anna:  The endearingly dorky, goofy girl who's friends with everyone. But her best friend is her big sister, Elsa.  I shortened her dress and gave her my boots. I used to have a purse like her's, too. Plus, my 1st initial is 'A'. Her hair took 4 different colored pencil colors to get the right auburn hue, but it was worth it!

Belle:   The Nerdy bookworm and the voice of reason. She loves to read and read and read. She also is highly intelligent has a large vocabulary. I tried to make her modestly beautiful, but then I went for a geek-chic look. That's actually one of my dresses, vests, and not visible gray TOMS. She carries a weaved, basket-like purse like her book basket in the movie.  Belle is also reading one of my favorite books Anne of Green Gables. Although she is usually well-tempered and sensible, don't bother her while she's reading or touch her books without asking. She's VERY protective of her books. And don't call her Bella Swan from Twilight, her least favorite book. Or else this might happen to you...

Merida:   The Athlete and the Tomboy of the group. She is from Scotland and has an awesome Scottish accent. Due to her headstrong, rebellious, and competitive nature, she and Jack (who share similar traits) butt heads a lot and try to outdo each other in various activities. In a playful, humorous sort of way that is. I gave her a blue jogger outfit and not visible Nike shoes and duffel bag for all her sports equipment. She also loves Katniss Everdeen from the Hunger Games for her amazing archery ability and strong personality. And one last thing: like Belle is protective of her books, Merida doesn't let ANYONE touch her bow and arrows. Doing that is asking for a world of pain as Jack will soon discover...
 
Jack: The classic rebel without a cause, the bad boy with a soft-side. He only wants to get the girls' attention not to date them, but because he just wants to be their friend but doesn't know how to tell them. And let's face it: they are pretty cool people. He has a crush on Elsa, even though she's much older than him mentally. Jack was getting sick of being told he looked like Justin Beiber (when he was a cute, innocent, ans sweet kid) or some guy out of 1D (both as a compliment and an insult). He kept his spiky hair and pants, but got a total bad-boy makeover, piercings, skull shirt, tattoos, and all. His outfit is based off of a drawing by Sixpennies www.deviantart.com/art/Jack-36…. THX Sixpennies . He turned out surprisingly good-looking considering I can't draw him. And don't worry. He becomes a nice guy in the series to come.
